Debra Forman of PINSTRIPE COACHING is a relationship-building certified Executive Coach who collaborates with senior executives and lawyers in one-on-one and group coaching sessions that are fuelled by clients’ objectives. That her business grows almost exclusively through client referrals is a strong testament to Debra’s coaching abilities. Since establishing Pinstripe, Debra has worked with more than 250 clients and has provided over 3,300 hours of executive coaching services.

Debra is the resident coach for the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA), the only global association devoted to lawyers and inhouse counsel aged 45 years and under.

Debra recently launched, with Canadian Lawyer Magazine, Making Rain, the first monthly business development and online video practice management coaching column.

Building on 30 years of experience, Debra partners with business and legal clients to help them realize their professional and personal goals. Pinstripe’s clients want to attract new business opportunities, manage time effectively, develop talent, demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, and conduct business strategically. Debra has particular expertise working with clients who want to attract new clients and grow existing relationships, and with women executives looking to jump-start their business development efforts, or transition into new roles and responsibilities. Debra is a coach facilitator of monthly women’s peer advisory groups for Women’s Executive Network (WXN), the largest association of female executives in Canada and Ireland.

Executives Debra coaches include attorneys (law firm and corporate counsel), IT executives, senior financial executives, and business owners.

Recognized as one of the pioneers in Canadian law firm professional and business development, Debra has two Master’s degrees. Prior to establishing Pinstripe, she held senior professional and business development positions at three prominent Canadian law firms.

Debra completed her Executive Coach certification in New York at one of North America’s leading coaching institutes and is accredited by the International Coach Federation as a PCC. Debra recently submitted her application to be accredited as a Master Certified Coach (MCC), the next and highest level of coach accreditation.
